Professional Profile

Everyone faces some challenges in life. I also face the biggest challenge of my life.I come from a well to do family in butterworth. When I was three years old, doctors judged my hearing was severely impaired. In order for me to hear it, my parents tried various methods and sought treatment, hoping that one day I could be a normal person. No matter what method, such as traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine and temple. Both my  parents took me to heal, but I couldn't hear either. It also left me to inability to speak.

  When I was five years old, I went to the hearing hospital through the recommendation of my mother's friend and  had all kinds of detailed examinations. The doctor advised me to wear a hearing machines.Although a good hearing machine are very expensive, my parents bought me the best one.When I wear my hearing machine, I have full of questions about the world. Why does the machine in my ear make sounds? Why is the world so noisy? What do the sound they make mean?I remember throwing my hearing machine on the floor because I wasn't used to it. After I throw my hearing machine, my mother scolded me, hugged me and cried, and apologized to me. But I didn't know what I was doing wrong. However, it was not until I grew up that I realized the difference between myself and others.

  When I started wearing hearing machines, I started going to speech therapy centers to learn pronunciation and language. My learning method is different from other children of my age. My parents raised me with patience and love, and taught me carefully bit by bit to see my progress becomes  better ,to be who i am today.

   Today, I am luckier than many people, although I still need hearing machines to hear clearly. I have loving parents, sisters, teachers and good friends. Therefore, I believe that as long as I continue to study hard, I can do my best. In the face of adversity, we have to be stronger, continue to challenge ourselves, in order to achieve a greater

Individual Assignment 1

The concept design is “Duck”, basically it’s due to the love of me towards “Duck” during my childhood. Although ducks sound a little bit funny and clumsy to most people; but for me, ducks are clever creatures that can adapt to various environments. For instance ,they can swim in the water, walk on the ground, and fly in the sky. The design of this logo is composed of my name abbreviation as “a.y.w” . The head of duck in this logo is the letter of “a”. The “a” is stands for ability and I desire to be an ability person . The body of duck is the letter of “y” .The “y” is stand for yellow. I think yellow is my lucky colour . Yellow is the colour that can stand for happiness and warm in my heart and it can show my character that i am the person who likes to laugh and be happy easily.The water wave below the duck is “w”, and the “w” stands for water. Water is flowing and unrestrained. Thus, the water in the logo is stand for freedom. I want to be free like water. Next,the tie in this duck of the logo is symbolic the successful . I hope to be a successful person and can contribution to the society .
